McCoy Buries Game-Winner, Tester Eclipses 1,000 Points as Men's Hoops Wins Thriller Over UNOH

ADRIAN, Mich. — Alex McCoy drilled a go‑ahead 3‑pointer with three seconds remaining, lifting Siena Heights to a 67–65 win over Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday night as Jonas Tester became the 40th player in program history.

McCoy, who finished with six points, buried the decisive shot from the right wing after Siena Heights set up out of a timeout, answering a jumper by Northwestern Ohio with 24 seconds left that briefly gave the visitors the lead.

UNOH had one final attempt at the basket, but a 3-point attempt missed its mark before the Saints stormed the court.

Tester reached the milestone earlier in the second half and finished with 14 points, adding to a balanced scoring effort that saw Siena Heights withstand a rally after leading by double digits in the first half.

Siena Heights carried a 35–24 lead into the break and pushed the advantage to as many as 12 points before Northwestern Ohio surged back behind late shooting to turn the final minutes into a back‑and‑forth finish.

Jasiah Rainey scored 16 points for Siena Heights, while Jack Olis added 14 points and 10 rebounds. The Saints shot 85 percent from the free‑throw line and committed just seven turnovers.
