ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. — The Siena Heights men's basketball team dropped a 78-56 decision to Rochester Christian in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play Wednesday night.
The Saints (4-10, 1-8 WHAC) led by as many as nine points in the first half and trailed just 41-34 at the break after shooting nearly 47 percent from the field. Jack Olis scored 11 of his 13 points before halftime, while Joshua Wilson added seven first-half points to keep Siena Heights within striking distance.
But the second half belonged to the Warriors (11-4, 6-3 WHAC), who shot 65 percent after the break and outscored the Saints 37-22. Siena Heights struggled offensively in the final 20 minutes, hitting just 25.8 percent of its shots and going 0-for-9 from beyond the arc.
Wilson and Olis shared team-high honors with 13 points apiece, while Nick Sobush chipped in eight points and George Kalatzis added six off the bench.
