Siena Heights junior guard Curtis Bell III was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) men's basketball player of the week by the league office this afternoon.
Bell III had a big week for the Saints as he scored a career-high 30 points in the victory over cross-town rival Adrian College. Bell's double-double of points (30) and rebounds (11) propelled Siena Heights to win the Milk Jug for the first time in three years.
This is the first WHAC player of the week award in Bell's career. It is also the first player of the week award for the Saint men's basketball program this season.
Bell will lead Siena Heights on the road this Wednesday, December 1, against Rochester at 7:30 p.m.
