Two Men's Basketball Athletes Tabbed WHAC Honors

Two members of the Siena Heights men's basketball team earned 2021 postseason honors by the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) as announced by the league office on Monday, March 1st. 

Kevin Rice (Sr. | Detroit, Mich.) earned All-WHAC Second Team. Rice started in 11 games for the Saints on the season and led the team averaging 19.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.9 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game. He holds a 51.4 shooting percentage, a 38.5 three-point percentage, and a 69.0 free-throw percentage. He was also tabbed WHAC men's basketball player of the week on February 10th. Rice ranks Number 48th in Division I in Points per Game (19.000). These end-of-the-season WHAC honors are Rice's first of his career. 

Jordan Wyckoff (Sr. | Detroit, Mich.) was named to the WHAC Champions of Character team. He appeared in 11 games and started in nine for the Saints on the season as he averaged 5.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game. He holds a 57.1 shooting percentage and a 63.6 free-throw percentage. These end-of-the-season WHAC honors are Wyckoff's first of his career.

The Siena Heights men's basketball team finished the 2020-21 season with an overall record of 2-10 and a conference record of 2-9 with a 1-6 home record and a 1-4 away record. The team tallied 61.8 points, 32.6 rebounds, and 9.9 assists per game. They held a 41.4 shooting percentage, 29.6 three-point percentage, and a 67.3 free-throw percentage.
