
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced Tuesday the 2020 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes and NAIA Scholar Team awards. The Siena Heights Men's Basketball Program had two student-athletes earn this distinction
In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer.
Earning the award for the Saints was:
DeMarco Dickerson – senior, art major from Detroit, Michigan
Jon Hovermale – senior, sport management major from Livonia, Michigan (his second time earning this award)
