Patrick Lyall has returned for his second year on the Siena Heights coaching staff as its graduate assistant coach on the offensive side of the ball. He will assist in coaching the offensive linemen.

Lyall is a 2010 graduate of the University of Michigan. He is also a native of Adrian, where he attended AHS before graduating in 2004.

Lyall was a walk-on for Michigan, but eventually earned a scholarship for his play on the offensive line. He was a member of the Wolverines' 2004 Big Ten Conference championship squad -- a team that shared the conference crown with Iowa and then appeared in the Rose Bowl against Texas.

While coaching at SHU, Lyall will work toward a Master’s degree in Higher Educational Leadership. On the recruiting trail, he will focus on the western and northern parts of Michigan.
