Fred Butler will return for his second season on the sidelines after graduating from SHU in 2014. He was a three-year starter for the Saints.

In 2013, Butler was an All-Mid-States Football Association Mideast League First Team performer. He ranked second on SHU's squad in interceptions (5) while rating fifth in total tackles (36 1/2).

Butler is currently the defensive graduate assistant and will be working towards a master’s degree in organizational leadership. He will coach the defensive backs and is responsible for recruiting the Huron, Washtenaw, Wayne, and Saint Clair county schools.
