Pete Pharis is in his third season as a member of the Siena Heights football coaching staff as a coach for the kickers and punters. He was previously a special teams coach at the high school level for Toledo Saint John’s Jesuit from 1987-2011.

In 2011, he was awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award from the Corporation for National and Community Service. Pharis is also a registered financial advisor with the National Football League Players’ Association.

Pharis earned his bachelor’s degree from Muskingum (Ohio) in chemistry and math before earning a master’s from Michigan and MBA from Toledo. He lives with his wife, Karen, and has a son, daughter and five grandsons.
