ADRIAN, Mich. – Siena Heights senior linebacker Kole Murlin was named the Mid-States Football Association Mideast League defensive player of the week when the league office announced the awards this afternoon.
Murlin led the Saints with 13 tackles, two sacks, and three tackles for loss in the win over Lawrence Tech this past Saturday. He currently leads the MSFA Mideast League with 11.9 tackles per game. That mark is also fifth in the NAIA.

The Saints host Indiana Wesleyan this Saturday for the final home game of the regular season. The game is slated for a noon start.
