The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2022 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes award.  The Siena Heights Football Program had eleven student-athletes earn these distinctions.

In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer.

Earning the award for the Saints was:

Cole LaFave (3^rd time), senior, business major from Rochester, Michigan

Jacob Lederman (3^rd time), senior, business major from Grand Blanc, Michigan

Andrew Lyons (2^nd time), senior, criminal justice major from Flint, Michigan

Justin McCown (2^nd time), senior, business major from Sterling Heights, Michigan

Kole Murlin (2^nd time), senior, education major from Celina, Ohio

Ty Smith (1^st time), senior, business major from Pewamo Westphalia, Michigan

Kabe Sykora (1^st time), junior, biology major from Marshall, Michigan

Nick Turchiano (1^st time), junior, sport management major from Cincinnati, Ohio

Walter Turner (1^st time) junior, psychology major from Carlson, Michigan

TJ Verner (1^st time) junior, business major from Clawson, Michigan
