Siena Heights junior linebacker Kole Murlin was voted the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Mideast League Defensive Player of the Week by the league office on Monday afternoon.

The Celina, Ohio native led the Saints defense with 14 tackles, two tackles for loss, and a sack in the 13-8 win against St. Francis (Ill.) on Saturday.
