Football Travels to MSFA #21 Marian for Game Eight
 
 
THE GAME
The Siena Heights football team is set for travel to NAIA 21st-ranked Marian in a Mid-States Football Association Mideast League, on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m. in Indianapolis, Ind.
 
Siena Heights is currently 4-3 overall while holding a 2-1 conference record. The Saints had a bye week last weekend, after losing 36-9 to top-ranked Saint Francis (Ind.) at the SHU Homecoming game.
 
The Knights are also 4-3 overall with a 1-2 conference record. Last week, MU fell to then 17th-ranked Concordia, 39-36. The Knights also dropped their first MSFA MEL contest to No. 1 Saint Francis (Ind.), 31-24. Their lone MSFA MEL win comes from Taylor, winning in a dominant 56-14 fashion.
 
THE HISTORY
This will be the seventh meeting between SHU and MU as the Saints hold an 0-6 record overall over the Knights, going 0-3 at home and away. The closest contest was in 2013 as SHU fell 27-23 at Saint Vincent Health Field.
 
Last season, Siena Heights fell to Marian, 59-14, in their final game of the season on Nov. 12, 2016. Scoring the Saints two touchdowns was Deontae' Rush with a 50-yard reception and Jordan Riley with a 100-yard kickoff return.

SHSN will provide live video for each Saints' home game. Play-by-play will be called by Chris Renwick with Doug Goodnough providing color commentary. Renwick is in his second year with the Saints broadcast team while Goodnough returns for his second consecutive season.
 
SHSN and WLEN 103.9 FM have also enjoyed a six-year partnership. All games will be audio-streamed online at WLEN.COM while select games will be broadcasted live on the radio.
