The Siena Heights football team will play its second straight away game against WHAC-rival Concordia in Mid-States Football Association Mideast League action on Sept. 17. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
The Siena Heights football team will play its second straight away game against WHAC-rival Concordia in Mid-States Football Association Mideast League action on Sept. 17. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
The Saints are coming off a 38-10 comeback victory over MSFA Mideast League opponent Missouri Baptist on Sept. 10. SHU travels with a 2-0 overall record and 2-0 conference record. Concordia recently lost to Wagner (N.Y.), 38-0, after beating No. 24 Saint Ambrose, 35-16, on Sept. 3. The Cardinals will go into their home-opener 1-1 overall and 0-0 in the MSFA Mideast League.

SHSN will provide live video for each Saints' home game. Play-by-play will be called by Chris Renwick with Doug Goodnough providing color commentary. Renwick is in his first year with the Saints broadcast team while Goodnough resumes his role in SHSN after a year break. Renwick will travel with the Saints for away games.
SHSN and WLEN 103.9 FM have also enjoyed a five-year partnership. All games will be audio-streamed online at WLEN.COM while select games will be broadcasted live on the radio.

Saint Xavier, out of Chicago, Ill., is currently 2-1 with a 1-0 Mid-states Football Association Midwest League record. Saint Xavier defeated Ave Marie (Fla.), 46-3, on Sept. 10.
The Cougars will host Webber International on Sept. 17 before visiting the Saints.
