Siena Heights senior defensive lineman Kyle Connors was named to the NAIA All-America First Team, as announced by the American Football Coaches Association.

Connors was a first-time All-Mid-States Football Association Mideast League First Team honoree in 2014 after claiming Second Team accolades in 2013 and an honorable mention in 2012.

During the 2014 season, Connors had 42 tackles. He rated second on the team in sacks (7) and tackles-for-loss (17.5). Connors also had an interception.

Connors was an intricate piece to a Saints' 'D,' which ranked first in the NAIA in opponents' first downs (133), second in total defense (252.1), third in rushing defense (87.1), fifth in sacks per game (3.2), fifth in total sacks (32) and fifth in opponents' pass efficiency (91.9).

The senior DL is the third Saint to earn All-America honors. Last season, tight end Donovan Campbell was named to the First Team while defensive back DeShawn Gilbert was recognized on the Second Team.
