VITERBO, Italy -- Quarterback Travis Zajkowski threw for 260 yards and three touchdowns as the Siena Heights football team defeated the Italian National Team, 35-3, in an exhibition contest on May 11.
Wide receiver Raphael Dunson and running back Payton White scored two touchdowns each for the Saints while tight end Donovan Campbell found paydirt once.
Siena Heights fell behind in the first quarter on a 30-yard field goal by Italy kicker Stafano di Tunisi, but then rattled off 35 unanswered points.
Zajkowski found Campbell for a 35-yard touchdown score. Dunson closed the first quarter with his two scores -- one on a 63-yard punt return and another on a 69-yard hookup from Zajkowski.
The Saints expanded on their 21-3 halftime lead with a pair of White touchdowns in the third quarter. A kickoff return by Dunson ended at the Italy 10-yard-old, setting up a 5-yard TD run by White. White later had a 24-yard touchdown reception from Zajkowski.
