ADRIAN, Mich. - The Siena Heights competitive dance team placed first in the NAIA East Regional, which took place at the SHU Fieldhouse on Saturday. The Saints won the event with a score of 96.40.

The Saints won an automatic bid to the NAIA Invitational in Oklahoma City, Okla., which will take place Mar. 14-16.

Concordia placed second with a score of 93.3. Lourdes was third place with a 89.6 and Lindenwood-Belleville (Ill.) took fourth with with 85.16.

Following team competition, a total of five dancers gave individual performances; Siena Heights' Madeline Soave was the lone competitor to earn NAIA All-America honors. Soave is the first All-American dancer in school history.
