The Siena Heights competitive cheer and dance teams have received bids to the NAIA Invitational, which will take place Mar. 13-14 at Midland University in Fremont, Neb.

The Saints' cheer team placed third at the East Regional, which took place at the SHU Fieldhouse on Feb. 21. They earned the fourth seed in preliminaries with a score of 83.633 before moving up to third during the finals with a score of 84.7.

The SHU dance squad finished second at regionals. It earned the second seed in preliminaries with a score of 94.333 and then remained in that spot through finals with a score of 97.667.
