ADRIAN, Mich. - The Siena Heights competitive cheer team placed second in the NAIA East Regional, which took place at the SHU Fieldhouse on Saturday. The Saints finished with a score of 78.48.

Concordia won the event with a score of 81.55. Lindenwood placed third at 75.75, Lourdes was fourth at 75.03 and Aquinas was fifth with 74.27.

With the win, Concordia earned an automatic berth to the NAIA Invitational in Oklahoma City, Okla., from Mar. 14-16.  

The Saints will now await word from the NAIA to see if they will receive an at-large berth to Nationals. A total of nine at-large berths are available.
