LIVONIA, Mich. -- The Siena Heights dropped two games to Madonna in WHAC action on Sunday. Individual recaps are below.
Game 1: Madonna 8, Siena Heights 2
Mason Baer batted 2-for-3 with a double and Zander Zeiter homered. Kaleb Woods added a double.
SHU fell behind 2-1 in the first inning before Zeiter's bomb cut the lead in half.
The Crusaders built up an 8-1 lead before Siena Heights scored its final run in the seventh on an RBI single by Pablo Arnaud.
Game 2: Madonna 9, Siena Heights 1
Braxton Mustiful had a 2-for-3 game with a double and RBI. Jack Semler went 2-for-4.
The Saints took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on a Mustiful single.
Madonna took the lead for a 4-run third.
