The Siena Heights baseball team was honored with the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award for its academic efforts in the 2016 season.

The Saints were one of nine NAIA programs that earned this American Baseball Coaches Association award.

In order to receive this award, the team must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale during the 2015-16 academic year.
