BEREA, Ky. -- The Siena Heights baseball team earned a pair of victories -- 14-1 and 11-8 -- over Berea (Ky.) on Saturday in non-conference action.

Corey Alexander (Toledo, Ohio/Whitmer) pitched a complete-game two-hitter in the opener. In seven innings, he recorded five strikeouts and one walk to earn his second win of the season.

Offensively, Corey Caldwell (Ypsilanti, Mich./Lincoln Consolidated) had three hits, two runs and an RBI. Cory Lehman(Toledo, Ohio/Central Catholic) added a double, single and three runs while Robbie Schwartz (Adrian, Mich./Adrian) smacked a two-run single.

In the second game, the SHU offense was led by Dan Abbott (Plymouth, Mich./Lutheran Westland), who went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Marcus Stewart (Clinton, Mich./Clinton) doubled twice and drove in two runs while Josh White (Brooklyn, Mich./Columbia Central) had a 2-for-4 game with one RBI.

Jake Sperry (Livonia, Mich./Westland John Glenn) worked six innings on the mound to earn the win.

The Saints (3-0) and Mountaineers will play another doubleheader on Sunday, beginning at noon.
