The following was printed on Abby (English) Waldbaum's HOF plaque:
A three-year captain of the Saints’ nationally-ranked soccer team, English was named to the All-Region Team four straight seasons. In the program’s first year of collegiate competition, she led the team in scoring as a freshman.
English was a 1st-Team NAIA All-American midfielder in 1998, when the Saints won a school-record 25 games and placed third in their first appearance at the NAIA National Championships. As a senior in 1989, she was a 2nd-Team NAIA All-American.
She ranks #4 all-time in Saints scoring history with 104 career points and #3 all-time in assists with 34.
A business administration major at Siena Heights, Abby works in the sports marketing field as the Race Director for the San Francisco Examiner “Bay to Breakers”—the world’s largest footrace.
