The following was printed on Rebecca Cousineau's Hall of Fame Plaque:
Rebecca Cousineau was a two-time NAIA All-American thrower who played a key role in one of the most successful eras in Siena Heights University track & field history. She earned her first All-American honor with a third-place finish in the weight throw at the 2015–16 NAIA Indoor National Championships, recording a mark of 18.49 meters. Cousineau added her second All-American performance at the 2016 NAIA Outdoor National Championships, finishing eighth in the discus with a throw of 44.07 meters.
Cousineau qualified for five additional NAIA National Championship events, placing 11th in the 2015 NAIA Outdoor hammer throw, 11th in the 2014–15 NAIA Indoor weight throw, 13th in the 2016 NAIA Outdoor hammer throw, 14th in the 2015 NAIA Outdoor discus, and 25th in the 2014 NAIA Outdoor hammer throw. She contributed to three NAIA National Championship team top-ten finishes, including a program-best third-place finish at the 2016 NAIA Outdoor Championships and fourth-place finishes at the 2014–15 and 2015–16 NAIA Indoor Championships.
At the conference level, Cousineau won two WHAC championships in the 2015 outdoor hammer throw and the 2014–15 indoor weight throw. She also recorded three runner-up finishes and one third-place finish during her career. Her academic accomplishments matched her athletic success, as she earned NAIA Scholar Athlete honors once, was a four-time WHAC All-Academic selection, and was named to the WHAC Champions of Character team. She was also a member of the Siena Heights Hall of Fame teams for the 2014–15 and 2015–16 women’s track & field seasons.
