Jackie Clark was a standout runner for Siena Heights University during the mid-1990s and one of the program’s early conference stars. She earned NAIA All-American honors as a member of the 4 × 400-meter relay team that finished seventh at the 1996 NAIA Outdoor National Championships with a time of 3:52.27 and the 1995-96 4 x 800-meter relay team that finished as runner-up at the NAIA Indoor National Championship.

Clark also competed at the 1996–97 NAIA Indoor National Championships, finishing 12th in the 55-meter dash and ninth in the 4 × 800-meter relay. At the conference level, she was a dominant force during the early years of the WHAC, capturing seven WHAC championships and earning WHAC Co–Most Valuable Performer honors at the 1996–97 Indoor Championships. During that meet, she won WHAC titles in the 400-meter dash, 55-meter dash, and 200-meter dash. In the 1995–96 season, Clark added four more WHAC championships, winning the 600-yard run, 880-yard run, one-lap relay, and one-mile relay.
