JoRanda Chapman was a standout sprinter for Siena Heights University whose career was highlighted by consistent success at both the national and conference levels. She earned NAIA All-American honors at the 2009–10 NAIA Indoor National Championships, finishing sixth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.06 seconds.
Chapman qualified for and competed in ten additional events at NAIA National Championship meets. Individually, she placed seventh in the 400 meters at the 2007–08 NAIA Indoor Championships and finished 12th at both the 2008–09 NAIA Indoor Championships and the 2008 NAIA Outdoor Championships in the same event. She was also a key contributor on seven relay teams that qualified for national competition, including an 11th-place finish in the 4 × 100-meter relay at the 2008 NAIA Outdoor Championships and a 19th-place finish in 2009. Chapman competed on three NAIA Outdoor 4 × 400-meter relay teams, finishing 17th in 2010, 19th in 2009, and 22nd in 2008, as well as two NAIA Indoor 4 × 400-meter relay teams, finishing 12th in 2008–09 and 15th in 2010–11.
At the conference level, Chapman captured six WHAC championships, winning the outdoor 200 meters in 2008, the outdoor 400 meters in 2008 and 2010, the indoor 400 meters in 2007–08 and 2009–10, and the indoor 4 × 400-meter relay during the 2009–10 season. She added two runner-up finishes and a third place finish.
