The following was printed on Taylor Hayes' Hall of Fame Plaque:

Taylor Hayes was a four-year starter for the Saints at first base and in the pitching circle, becoming one of the most decorated players in program history. In 2013, she was named an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American — one of only eight Saints to ever earn NAIA All-American honors. That same season, she was selected as an NFCA Second Team All-American and First Team All-Region honoree. In 2014, she added NFCA Second Team All-Region recognition.

Hayes earned First Team All-WHAC honors twice and Honorable Mention All-WHAC once during her career. She was also a two-time Academic All-WHAC selection and an NFCA Scholar-Athlete.

She set the program’s career records for home runs (21) and doubles (46). At the time of her graduation, Hayes ranked 5th in career batting average (.354), 9th in hits (160), 2nd in RBI (126), 5th in fielding percentage (.984), 4th in put-outs (802), and 7th in fewest errors (14).

Her 2013 season remains one of the best in school history, as she ranked 3rd in single-season batting average (.450), 3rd in home runs (7), and 4th in RBI (42). In 2014, she hit 15 doubles — one of the top single-season marks in program history — and in 2015 added six home runs, again ranking among the program’s best single-season totals. In the circle, Hayes earned 13 career wins and posted a 2.81 ERA despite being limited to 164 innings due to injury and weather cancellations.
