Despite unique and challenging circumstances, 406 Siena Heights student athletes earned a 3.23 GPA in the winter semester of 2026.
Leading the way in the classroom was the women's soccer team with a 3.90 GPA, followed by the dance team with a 3.89 GPA, and the women's volleyball team with a 3.78 GPA. Rounding out the top five was the women's track & field team with a 3.72 GPA and the men's lacrosse team with a 3.48 GPA.
Seven of the eight women's teams earned a 3.0 GPA or higher with an aggregate GPA of 3.51. The women's golf team (3.39 GPA) rounded out the top five women's teams. Eight of the ten men's teams earned a 3.0 GPA or higher. The men's bowling team (3.45 GPA), the men's track & field team (3.38 GPA), the men's cross country team (3.32 GPA), and the baseball team (3.31 GPA) rounded out the top five men's programs. The aggregate men's GPA was a 3.16.
With the co-ed sports, the dance team led the way with their 3.89 GPA. The cheer team earned a 3.04 GPA, the esports team earned a 3.01 GPA and the stunt team earned a 2.33 GPA.
The 406 student athletes maintain a 3.29 cumulative GPA for their careers. Leading the way by program is the women's soccer program with a 3.76 GPA followed by the dance program with a 3.76 GPA. The women's golf program holds a 3.72 GPA and the women's track & field program carries a 3.59 GPA followed by the women's cross country program with a 3.58 GPA. Rounding out the top five cumulative GPA for the men's programs are the men's cross country program (3.49), men's track & field (3.36), men's soccer (3.34) men's golf (3.33) and the baseball program (3.33).
