643 Siena Heights student athletes earned a 3.13 GPA in the fall semester of 2020.
Leading the way in the classroom was the women's soccer team with a 3.66 GPA, followed by the women's cross country team with a 3.62 GPA, and the men's golf team with a 3.56 GPA. Rounding out the top five was the softball team with a 3.53 GPA and the women's lacrosse team with a 3.49 GPA.
All nine of the women's teams earned a 3.0 GPA or higher with an aggregate GPA of 3.46. On the men's side, the baseball team came in with a 3.48 GPA followed by the cross country team with a 3.24 GPA. Rounding out the top five men's teams were the bowling team with a 3.21 GPA and the soccer team with a 3.14 GPA. The aggregate men's GPA was a 2.93.
With the three co-ed sports, the dance team earned a 3.45 GPA followed by the cheer team with a 3.12 GPA, and eSports with a 2.68 GPA.
The 643 student athletes maintain a 3.14 cumulative GPA for their careers. Leading the way by program is the women's soccer program with a 3.66 GPA followed by the softball program with a 3.54 GPA and the women's volleyball program with a 3.53 GPA. The men's golf program tops the men's programs with a 3.49 cumulative GPA followed by the baseball program with a 3.36 GPA and the men's bowling program with a 3.28 GPA. The dance team leads the co-ed sports in cumulative GPA with a 3.50 GPA.
