JACKSON, Mich. -- Tim Combs and Joe Forest shot 73s while Nick Campbell and Alex Willnow carded 74s as the Siena Heights men's golf team stormed to a second-place finish with Saturday's best group score at Spring Arbor's Bill Bockwitz Intercollegiate.

Campbell (73-74) and Forest (74-73) finished the two-day tournament with 147s -- good enough to tie for fourth.

Willnow ended up tied for ninth with a 149 (75-74) and Combs had a nine-stroke improvement to finish 25th with a 155 (82-73).

As a team, Siena Heights finished with a score of 598 (304-294) and bested the second-lowest Saturday score by nine strokes (SAU, 303). Spring Arbor won the tournament with a 598 (291-303) and was led by medalist Cody Lysher, who carded a two-round 143 (72-71).

The Saints will compete next at the third WHAC jamboree -- a two-day event that will be hosted by Northwestern Ohio and Indiana Tech.
