The Siena Heights men's basketball team was chosen to finish ninth in the 2020-21 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Preseason Coaches Poll that was released by the league office today (Oct. 15). The Saints finished the last season with a 9-11 league record (7th in WHAC standings) and a 13-18 overall record.

Defending WHAC champions Indiana Tech tops the poll this year with 95 points and six of the 10 first-place votes. Cornerstone falls under them with 87 points and one of the 10 first-place votes. Lourdes received three of the 10 first-place votes for third with 85 points while Madonna falls to fourth with 61 points. Rochester totaled 60 points to claim the fifth spot and UNOH was sixth with 51 points. Aquinas finished with 36 points for seventh while Lawrence Tech tallied 31 points for eighth.
