Siena Heights recognized as a Five Star Champions of Character Award Winner

Siena Heights University was once again recognized as an NAIA Champions of Character Five Star Award Winner.

This year 168 insitutions received the award as their activities touched over 187,000 students, parents and coaches with character based messages.

Every NAIA instituion's and conference's progress in pursuing character education is tracked and recognized annually for achievements in training, promotion and conduct in competition. The Champions of Character Scorecard measures commitment in five key areas and totals 100 points. Gold (90-100 points), Silver (75-89 points) and Bronze levels (60-74 points) are awarded.  2014 is the first year that the scorecard and ranking system has been employed.

This year the Saints scored 79 points and received a silver status.  The Saints have been a five star recipient since the induction of the Champions of Character program.
