The Siena Heights women's volleyball team will continue Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play this week as they travel to Aquinas on Wednesday, and then host Indiana Tech on Friday.
Last week, the Saints dropped it's first contest in over a month to the No. 14 Cornerstone in three sets. After the loss to the Golden Eagles, SHU was able to redeem themselves with a win over Northwestern Ohio, three sets to two, moving the Saints' overall record to 15-2, and WHAC record to 5-1.
Aquinas is currently 10-8 overall and 5-2 in the WHAC. Last season, Siena Heights split it's two contests with Aquinas, winning 3-2 on Oct. 5, 2016, before falling to Aquinas in their second meeting of the 2016 season 2-3 on Nov. 2.
Indiana Tech holds a 7-15 record overall and a 1-5 conference record. In the Warriors and Saints only match-up last season, Indiana Tech grabbed the victory, 3-1 on Oct. 1, 2016.
Next up, SHU will travel to Lourdes on Wednesday, Oct. 11 for a 7 p.m. contest, and then will compete in the Aquinas/Cornerstone Classic on Oct. 13-14.
