#10 Women's Lacrosse Drops Contest to #4 Davenport

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The 10th-ranked Siena Heights women's lacrosse team traveled to take on No. 4 Davenport in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference match-up on Sunday. The Saints dropped the contest by a score of 29-10.

Davenport scored the first seven goals of the game before Kayla Parks scored a goal, unassisted to open the Saints scoring. The Panthers never looked back and ran away with the victory.

Parks led SHU with five goals, while Marissa Cirino added three. Aliisa Mason finished with a team high two assists. Tabitha Ferguson suffered the loss in net, making 11 saves.

Jessica Lemcke scored 10 goals for the Panthers and added four assists. Samantha Powers earned the win in goal for DU making four saves.

The Saints will be back in action on Wednesday, Mar. 22, when they head to Lourdes for a WHAC contest. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
