Saints Women's Golf Finished Third at WHAC Fall Preview, Three Consecutive Third-Place Finishes in 2020

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. -- For the third time, the Siena Heights women's golf team finished a tournament in third place. This time the team secured the three-spot on the team leaderboard in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Fall Preview at the Bedford Valley Country Club in Battle Creek, Michigan. The Saints finished the 36-hole tournament with a team score of 700 (352+348) to earn their placing.

Bethany Nowak (sophomore, Britton, Mich.) led the way for Siena with a two-round score of 167 (84+83) to finish in the third-place spot in the individual standings. Dakota Spears (senior, Hudsonville, Mich.) totaled a 173 (91+82) to place seventh while fellow senior Jaclyn Fanola (senior, Monroe, Mich.) tallied a 175 (87+88) to tie in ninth. Mya Price (senior, South Lyon, Mich.) scored a 185 (90+95) to tie for 21st. Sorina Grech (senior, Rochester Hills, Mich.) finished in 27th with a 190 (92+98) after the 36-holes were completed.

The team continues its season on Friday, October 2 at the Cleary Invitational held at the Chemung Hills Golf Course in Howell, Michigan.
