Women's Golf Opens 2020 Season at Adrian Invitational on Thursday

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's golf team kicks off the fall sports season at Siena Heights University this Thursday, September 24 at the Adrian College Invitational.

The team returns eight student-athletes including 2019-20 second-team All-WHAC selections Dakota Spears (Sr. | Hudsonville, Mich.) and Jaclyn Fanola (Sr. | Monroe, Mich.). Sorina Grech (Sr. | Rochester Hills, Mich.) and Mya Price (Sr. | South Lyon, Mich.) round out the senior class for SHU women's golf. Chelsea Kovoch (Rockwood, Mich.) is the team's only junior while Lindsey Darby (Perry, Mich.), Breonna Guerrero (Adrian, Mich.), and Bethany Nowak (Britton, Mich.) make up the sophomore class. Along with the full lineup of returning talent to the roster, the Saints also added three newcomers in freshmen Emma Murphy (Grand Rapids, Mich.), Megan Paczac (St. Clair Shores, Mich.), and Kyiersten Sadowski (Lambertville, Mich.). 

The team has five events scheduled during the fall season, starting with the Adrian College Invitational this Thursday, September 24. Two days later, the Saints travel to Ypsilanti, Michigan for the Lawrence Tech Invitational before heading over to familiar Bedford Valley Golf Course in Battle Creek, Michigan for the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Fall Preview event. October second has the team in Howell, Michigan for the Cleary Invitational and October 12 is the final scheduled event for the fall in Sylvania, Ohio at the Lourdes Invitational.
