YPSILANTI, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's golf team finished atop the team standings at the Cardinal Invite hosted by Concordia (Mich.) at the Washtenaw Golf Course in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The Saints totaled 353 as a team to earn the victory. Madisyn Reed (Adrian, Mich.) led Siena with a score of 84 (+12) to win the tournament.
Jaclyn Fanola (Monroe, Mich.) was two strokes down from the lead (86, +14) to finish third. Dakota Spears (Hudsonville, Mich.) shot a 90 (+18) to claim fourth. Bethany Nowak (Britton, Mich.) and Mya Price (South Lyon, Mich.) finished seven and eight in the individual standings with a 93 (+21) and a 98 (+26). Gabrielle Anderson (Fraser, Mich.) rounded out the SHU scoring with a 100 (+28) for ninth place.
The SHU women's golf team competes again on Friday, September 27 in the first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Jamboree of the season. The jamboree is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m., EST.
