PLYMOUTH, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's golf team competed in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Jamboree No. 1 on Friday and Saturday at the Fox Hills Golf Course.
The Saints finished in fifth place out of the ten total, shooting a 354 in the first round as a team and 343 in the second, for a 697 total team score for the two rounds. Northwestern Ohio, Madonna, Lawrence Tech and Indiana Tech finished in first through fourth place respectively.
Dakota Spears was the leading finisher for the Saints shooting a 83 in round one and 86 in round two for a 169 total. Next for SHU was Lauren Cojei carding a 88 and 87 for a 175 total, and Madisyn Reed with an 86 and 89 also for a 175 total. Rounding out scoring for Siena Heights was Carley Hall with a 94 first round score and 84 in the second for a 178 total. Also playing for the Saints was Allie Barron carding a 97 and 91, for a 188.
Next up, the Saints will host the WHAC Jamboree #2 at the Lenawee County Country Club on Friday, Oct. 13 and Saturday, Oct. 14.
