CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Siena Heights men's volleyball team dropped two contests to Graceland (Iowa) and No. 8 Robert Morris (Ill.), on Saturday, losing both games 3-2.
GRACELAND 3, SIENA HEIGHTS 2: 19-25, 16-25, 25-22, 25-21, 6-15
Against Graceland, the Saints (10-6) dropped the first two set with scores of 19-25 and 16-25 before coming back and winning sets three and four.
SHU was down 13-11 and went on an eight-point run with Keegan Crawford serving, eventually winning 25-22. In the fourth set, the Saints went back-and-forth with the Yellow Jackets until coming out on top, 25-21. Graceland went on an 8-0 run to seal the Saints fate in set five, SHU losing 15-6.
For Graceland, Danny Ly earned 16 kills and 13 digs and Silila Tucker had 48 assists.
ROBERT MORRIS 3, SIENA HEIGHTS 2: 25-21, 21-25, 25-18, 14-25, 12-15
With close set scores in each game, the Saints took the first a third set against eighth-ranked Robert Morris. In set one, SHU jumped to a 17-12 lead and were able to hang on through the remainder of the game. Again in game three, Siena Heights took a 14-7 lead and held on throughout the game.
Siena Heights was led again by Dugan with 21 kills and 11 digs, Ayar earning 14 kills. DeJesus led with 25 digs as Crawford earned 48 assists.
With 14 kills a piece, Paris McFall and Erin Lee led the Eagles. Dalton Tucker earned 20 digs and Bobby Ying earned 41 assists.
Next up, The Saints will take on Saint Xavier (Ill.) at home in a 3 p.m., on Wednesday.
