#5 Men's Lacrosse 2018 Season Recap

The Siena Heights men's lacrosse team ended the season with an 11-5 overall record while taking a trip to the 2018 NAIA Men's Lacrosse National Invitational. Thirteen different Saints earned post-season awards, as awarded by the WHAC, NAIA and Head Coach Ed Maloney.

Offense Awards went to both Shane Lewandowski and Garnet Potter while Patrick Albrant earned the Defense Award. Lewandowski earned 41 points for the Saints, including 30 goals and 11 assists. Leading SHU in points was Potter with 45, earning 25 goals and 20 assists. Albrant managed 35 groundballs for the Saints while causing 13 turnovers.

The Most Improved Player was Ryan Mamo and Travis Byrd earned the title of Ground Ball Monster with a team-leading 46 groundballs. The Saints' Award was given to Michael Birt III.

The Men's Lacrosse Team also won the SHUspy for the Best Team Performance with their season-opening comeback victory over Missouri Baptist, 11-10.
