SOUTH LYON, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team finished the final round of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Jamboree #3 with a team score of 329 points. Combined with round one's total of 338 gave the Saints a 667 to tie for sixth in the tournament.
Colin Duffy (Pinckney, Mich.) tied for seventh in the individual standings with a total tournament score of 155 (77+78). Aaron Bitz (Monroe, Mich.) tallied a 167 (88+79) to tie for 25th. Davis Longyear (Stevensville, Mich.) claimed 36th place with a final score of 172 (85+87). James Monteith (Dearborn, Mich.) finished two strokes behind Longyear with a 174 (88+86) to tie in 41st. James Kuenzer (Hillsdale, Mich.) rounded out the SHU scores with a 177 (91+86) to tie for 44th in the tournament.
The Saints men's golf team finishes the fall season on Monday, October 14 at the Lourdes Invitational at the Sylvania Country Club in Sylvania, Ohio. The tournament is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m., EST.
