Men's Golf Finishes Ninth in WHAC #2

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team fell to ninth place in the second jamboree for the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference, on Saturday.

After a weather delay, the Saints shot for a combined score of 328, 48 strokes over par. Northwestern Ohio won with a score of 287, only seven over par.

Robert Kowalenko was the top finisher for the Saints, compiling a 77 on the 70 par course. A few strokes behind was Nick Sanscrainte who carded an 80 in the one-round jamboree.

Nick Burnham shot an 85 while both Aaron Bitz and Jimmy Monteith carded an 86.

Brandon Hoelzer and Dylan Holsclaw from Lourdes (Ohio) and Indiana Tech, respectively, each finished the round with a 69, one under par, to tie for first place.

Siena Heights will travel to Wauseon, Ohio for the Jon P. Speiss Invitational at the Ironwood Golf Club, on Tuesday.
