Men's and Women's Bowling Begin Season at RC Warrior Fall Classic

TROY, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's and women's bowling team started the season on Saturday, September 22 by competing at the RC Warrior Fall Classic at the Bowl One in Troy, Michigan. The men's team finished third in the team standings with a total pin count of 6744. The women's team was fourth with a total pin count of 6050. 

 On the men's side, Mitchell Rusinek was the top finisher on the individual standings. He tallied a pin total of 835 to finish fifth. Teammate Ryan Reid was just 14 pins behind Rusinek for sixth place and Travis Marcus was two spots lower with 812 pins. Keith Reid knocked 705 pins down for a 36th-place finish. Shane Rusinek finished 553 pins.

The women had top finisher KaCee Costello (11th) with 745 total pins. She was followed by Tarishia Townsend (17th) with 711 pins. Tryna Gladstone earned 686 pins which were good enough for a 24th-place finish. Carly Scouter accumulated a total of 567 pins.

The Saints bowling teams will remain at home this weekend as they host the SHU Halo Invitational this Saturday, September 29. The tournament is set to begin at 10:00 a.m., ET.
