HOW IT HAPPENED
The Saints of Aquinas got out to a 10 point lead in the first half of the game and never looked back. Aquinas would end up scoring 44 points in the first half compared to the Siena Heights Saints 26. AQ Saints had the scoring touch as they shot over 50% on 3PM and FGM in the first half. For SHU the leading scorer in the first half was DeMarco Dickerson as he scored 8 points.
Siena would outscore Aquinas in the second half of the game but it wouldn't be enough to catch up to their lead. Dickerson would score 15 more points in the second half to lead the team. SHU would finish shooting 33% on FGM and 86% on FTM
Dickerson ended with 23 points on the game and had 7 steals
Jaquantay Rouser came off the bench for SHU and scored 8 points
Deric Murray had 16 points coming off the bench for AQ to lead the team
