The Siena Heights men's basketball team travels to Northwestern Ohio and Lawrence Tech this week as they continue Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action. First, SHU will face the Racers on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. followed by a 3 p.m. contest at Lawrence Tech, on Saturday.
Currently, the Saints hold a 3-5 overall record with a 1-4 conference slate. The Racers enter the contest with a 5-6 overall record and a 1-3 WHAC slate. Prior to face SHU, the Blue Devils will travel to Michigan-Dearborn for a WHAC contest, on Wednesday. LTU is currently 1-8 overall and 0-5 in the conference.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Leading Siena Heights, Tony Jackson II has 103 points to average 12.9 points per game while he leads the team with 8.5 rebounds per game. Point guard Nick Randle averages 12.1 points per game while tallying a team-leading 27 assists. The last Saint to average in double-digits is Keith Jordan Jr., earning 10.9 points per game and averaging 5.8 rebounds.
For UNOH, Sadeeq Bello leads the team with 16.1 points per game while earning 37 assists in 11 games. With 14.7 points per game, Corbin Pierce earns 14.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.
Devonte Myles leads the Blue Devils with 18.4 points per game while adding 8.1 rebounds per game and a total of 21 assists in nine games. With 14.9 points per game is Ty'rese Searles.
Siena Heights will have a week off prior to a contest set for Saturday, Dec. 16, against Madonna at 3 p.m. as the final WHAC contest in 2017.
