ADRIAN, Mich. -- The eSports Rocket League team went 2-1 in competition on Sunday night. The Overwatch Blue team also competed and finished the night 1-1.
Rocket League's first opponent was the Rochester Institute of Technology. The Saints fell 2-0 to RIT with game scores of 2-1 (OT) and 1-0 (OT). The team then defeated the University of North Carolina 2-1. The Tarheels took game one with a 1-0 decision before the Siena rallied back for wins of 4-1 and 2-1 to take the series. The final series of the evening was a sweep for the Saints against Utah State University. Game one was a 1-0 win for SHU before the team ended the series with a dominating 7-3 win in game two.
The Overwatch Blue team lost 2-0 to Missouri Valley College before ending the night with a 2-0 sweep of Stevens Institute of Technology.
This week the Hearthstones eSports team make their debut on Tuesday and both Overwatch teams will compete on Sunday. The Rocket League team has a bye week this week.
