NAIA Postpones Most Fall 2020 Championships to Spring 2021

NAIA Postpones Most Fall 2020 Championships to Spring 2021

KANSAS CITY -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the decision of the Council of Presidents (COP) to postpone the cross country (men & women), men's soccer, women's soccer, and women's volleyball championships to the spring 2021 season.

This decision still allows all of the NAIA conferences, including the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC), to compete in the fall and winter if they choose. The WHAC conference is expected to make its decision on fall sports competition soon.

The COP also voted to delay the decision on the NAIA Football championship to this Friday, July 31, to have more time to obtain feedback from colleagues whose programs sponsor football.
